Huawei Mate 20 Pro New Teaser Confirms Its Squared Camera Setup
A new teaser that appeared on Weibo has confirmed the release of the Mate 20 Pro packing the Underwater mode. The short video clip shows a surfer on a sea with a square shaped box. The company showed the phone’s camera capturing the action. So, this teaser clearly hints at the Huawei Mate 20 Pro Squared Camera Module and Underwater Mode.
The Underwater mode will allow users to take clear shots in underwater environments. The mode will most probably provide the software required to ensure the pictures shot in the underwater environment are of vivid clarity. As we all know that the capacitive touchscreen doesn’t function inside water. So, it may be possible that the Mate 20 Pro Underwater mode will let you shoot using volume buttons. Also, pressing the power key can turn the camera on or off. Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro will be the first Kirin 980-powered smartphones and will maintain the company’s dedication to AI features. Huawei mate 20 Pro will have slightly bigger notch than other devices. It will have a 24-megapixel front-facing camera and a new Face ID technology. Reportedly, the phone will also contain in-display fingerprint scanner. The Mate 20 Pro wide notch will support the Huawei’s face-scanning technology. However, we are not sure about these specs as the company has not officially announced them yet. Huawei is expected to launch its Mate 20 series on October 16.
