WhatsApp Re-introduces its Text Status Feature
One reason the New WhatsApp status feature didn’t get a positive response was that users had already experienced this feature in Snapchat and Instagram, so this wasn’t new for them. Now users will be able to open the About section of their profile to put a text Status. They can also see other people’s by opening their contact when starting a new chat thread or looking at group chat info. WhatsApp provided this statement: The new update by WhatsApp didn’t get a major blowback as Facebook Messenger Day. The reason was that WhatsApp added the feature in a separate tab rather than at the top of the list. But replacing a utilitarian communication feature with a whimsical content-based one broke the behavior patterns of many users. So now WhatsApp is giving them both.
